What it is
This is a Suzhou professional grade dizi by flute maker Xie Bing.
A beautifully crafted Dizi using high quality white bamboo from Suzhou China. Professional flute players have been very impressed by its tone and playability. The dizi comes with copper joint for fine tuning and its two ends of the flute are adorned with white buffalo horn.
The maker is highly recommended by Dizi maestro Zhan Yong Ming.
This Dizi has been checked and tuned by a local luthier to ensure that the notes produced are in 442hz.

INTONATION
Overall intonation is sharp but it is a good thing as dizi normally should be played with the intonation being sharp unless in an orchestra.
HIGH AND LOW NOTES
High notes are very easy to hit. Low notes are slightly challenging
TONE
Overall the dizi has a colorful tone and is very bright when it comes to high notes
HANDLING
Overall easy to play with no difficulty in bringing the sound out.
SENSITIVITY
Dizi is sensitive to the slightest change in fingering
