The Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) is situated in the capital of China, Beijing. Established in 1949, it is an institution dedicated to nurturing world-class professionals in music.
In 1990, NAFA signed the official contract to host the Chinese Instruments Graded Examinations in partnership with CCOM. The first Graded Examinations were held in 1991, and continued on an annual basis in November. The NAFA-CCOM Graded Examinations place strong emphasis on methodical music pedagogy and solid foundational musical skills.
The Examination Committee strives to maintain the highest examination standards and offer candidates with valuable suggestions and performance advice for further musical development.
