Made from premium bitter bamboo sourced from Zhongtai, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, the raw material is carefully selected after a 5–6 year growth period, then air-dried naturally for over 3 years. The result? A matured, resonant bamboo body that sings with every breath.

This is a large instrument, so this means a far reach for my left hand, which is not impossible. Once I got used to the seventh hole, I gained an immediate appreciation of the dizi's rich tone and resonance. It's both elegant and relatively easy to play.
As soon as I unpacked this piece, I could see and feel the differences from the others I own. the finish is almost flawless. Even the joint s built seems made of better materials so assembly disassembly/ feels more positive.
I’ve only been playing for a few years so it took me a minute to orient my lips, hands, and fingers on such a large instrument, but when I could manage a clean scale, I knew that made a good choice. I’ve decided to replace my low b-flat and c dizi with this model.
Shipping took a while, but that was no fault of the shop’s. All contacts with the staff were courteous helpful—even with this relatively small purchase.
Never having seen a dizi IRL before, I managed to put on a piece of dimo without issues, and found the dizi to be exceptionally easy to get a tone from, and very strong. I can control the buzzing from the membrane pretty well, and the sound is great. All this after all of 30 seconds of playing the dizi for the first time. I think I chose the right dizi.
The flute arrived timely and in perfect condition! I’ve bought a flute from Eason before made by the same craftsman. Very pleased and would buy another! Recommend highly!

Returns Policy
All items purchased online through www.EasonMusicStore.com are returnable except for, well, nothing in particular. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping amount. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
The product(s) will be inspected upon receipt. All returns must be in good condition and all original packaging (including invoice) must be in place for full refund to be issued.
