What it is
This is a Zhongruan made from Cao Huali Wood by Liang Hao. The frets are made of a composite material that is as durable as metal frets but produce a sound that is not too metallic. This model gives a warm and clear tone. This model is an upgrade over the basswood model in terms of clarity, sweetness of tone and volume.
This concert-grade Zhongruan delivers a bright, articulate tone with a balanced timbre across all strings. Designed with low action and high responsiveness, it supports expressive playing while maintaining technical ease—perfect for ensemble and solo settings. The playability is excellent, making it a favourite among students in secondary and primary school orchestras.
Lianghao is a maker that we have been working with for sometime. He studied under popular Zhongruan maker Song Guang Ning for sometime and ventured out on his own. His instruments have an uncanny resemblance to Song’s. The tone of his instruments are comparable to Song’s at a fraction of its price.

About the Maker
Liang Hao is a respected Liuqin and Zhongruan craftsman based in Hebei, China. He trained under the late master luthier Song Guang Ning—whose instruments are prized by professional musicians and collectors alike. Liang Hao continues this legacy by crafting instruments that are known for their ease of play, articulate projection, and rich tonal character. His Zhongruans and Liuqins are favoured by educators and performers for their quality and consistency.

All items purchased online through www.EasonMusicStore.com are returnable except for, well, nothing in particular. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping amount. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
