      Always wanted to try the Dizi - Chinese flute? It is easier than you think!

      You just need 3 things:  
      The first is the ability to blow across a bottle top to make a sound.  
      The second is how to fix the flute membrane on the flute.
      The third of course is to own a Dizi!

      Here we have Dizi bamboo flutes for beginners, intermediate players, as well as professional players.  Our flutes are mainly by famous makers Dong Xue Hua and Xie Bin.  Each Dizi comes with a pack of dimo (flute membrane) and a piece of erjiao (flute glue).

        Koudi
        Koudi or mouth flute is a small Chinese flute made from bamboo. It can be considered the smallest flute in the family of flutes. Purchase it online here!
        Xiaodi
        Xiao Di or small flute, mainly comes in the keys of D, C and Bb. It produces a sharper, higher pitch and usually takes the lead in a piece of music. (Range: F4-D7)
        Bangdi
        Bang Di or short flute, mainly comes in the keys of A, G and F. It is mostly used to play songs from Northern China which are fast, bright and vigorous. (Range: C4 - A6)
        Qudi
        The Qu Di or long flute, mainly comes in the keys of E, D and C. It is mainly used to play songs from the South that are more melodic and lyrical. (Range: G3 - E6)
        Xindi
        The Xindi or Dadi comes in the keys of bb, A, G and F. It is a longer flute than Qu Di and produces a lower pitch as well. (Range: C2 - Bb6)
