This is a Zhongruan made from Basswood (Duan Mu) by Liang Hao. The frets are made of a composite material that is as durable as metal frets but produces a sound that is not too metallic. This model gives a warm and clear tone. The playability is excellent, making it a favourite among students in secondary and primary school orchestras.
Lianghao is a maker that we have been working with for a sometime. He studied under popular Zhongruan maker Song Guang Ning for sometime and ventured out on his own. His instruments have an uncanny resemblance to Song’s. The tone of his instruments are comparable to Song’s at a fraction of its price.
